Pretty great post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wished to say that I’ve really enjoyed surfing around your weblog posts. In any case I will be subscribing to your feed and I am hoping you write again soon! ffbadcggdcde

I liked your post but it did not work for me. The form submitted and it threw no errors, but the db did not receive the insertion record. Granted, I am using a slightly more sophisticated form, but I mirrored your steps. Also, the register.php file you refer to in this lesson somehow morphed into user_register.php. I clicked on all the previous lessons(as hyperlinked), and there appears no explanation for the filename change. Thanks again….So far it is the more detailed tutorial I have found.

my database is updating from the form but the browser is still bringing up this error message bellow

“Fatal error: Call to a member function prepare() on a non-object in C:\wamp\www\pdoconnection\user_register.php on line 35″

Thank you very much, this is a great site to learn from
